Account Executive

At VAULT, selling starts with a conversation, and our success is built upon a relationship of trust, knowledge, and partnership.  We are looking for an experienced and versatile account executive who is ready to proactively source clients who can benefit from our unique process, identify opportunities to solve problems that are worth solving, and are eager to provide product consulting to help advance great ideas forward.

Our ideal candidate has experience managing multiple clients in an agency environment, while constantly sourcing and filtering for new business.  He/she will be comfortable with day-to-day sales activities, as well as a long-term strategy, thriving with client variation and changing needs. Overall Responsibilities

  • Managing the entire sales cycle from finding a potential client to securing a deal
  • Arranging meetings and liaising with clients to understand their requirements
  • Unearthing new sales opportunities through networking and turning them into long-term partnerships
  • Quickly qualify leads to determine the next appropriate steps
  • At a high level, breakdown products or services into modules to define the overall scope of the project. Discuss and describe these modules both with the client and internal project teams
  • Research, prepare and deliver sales presentations to all levels of a client’s executive and management team
  • Professional follow-up to maintain momentum or move on if appropriate
  • Negotiate agreements and keep excellent records of sales and data
  • Preparing internal project briefs for internal teams to digest and plan out the details and scope of the project
  • Work alongside project management, monitoring all stages of the client’s project to ensure success
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer success and satisfaction
  • Remain in regular contact with your clients to understand and meet their needs

Requirements 

  • At least 4 years of proven experience as an Account Executive in either an agency or fast-growing technology firm. Project or product management experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships that last
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
  • Must be able to clearly demonstrate how your activities drove success in your previous sales position(s)
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand SaaS and other technology driven related businesses
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and/or Google Workplace
  • Proven knowledge of CRM software (i.e., Nutshell, Salesforce, HubSpot), including a strong working knowledge of automated sales processes and sales funnels
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking
  • Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to travel, as necessary
