Position Overview:

Account Maintenance I position involves data entry of state agencies rates, EIN’s and frequencies. They also process rate exchanges with the state agency and the demographic data on our state agencies for new clients.

 

Responsibilities:

• Collect and maintain SUI rates, account numbers and deposit frequencies in payroll and tax systems

• Record keeping of all SUI rates and EIN documents.

• Contribute to creating and drafting the team procedure manual

• Import demographic and pay history data into tax application

• Schedule Prior to Service tax collections for New Customers

• Update and maintain client data in Tax Service applications

• Partner with colleagues in Tax, and other related areas (Service, Implementation, Finance) to ensure sound tax service and high level of customer service

• State tax registration

• Other related responsibilities at the discretion of management

 

Requirements:

• 1-2 Years General Office Experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

 

Preferred Skills:

• Payroll service bureau experience a plus

• Experience in a high-volume payroll tax department highly desirable
