Root is seeking an Account Manager, Programmatic Partner to manage and scale our programmatic distribution channels. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, building meaningful relationships across all programmatic partnerships, meeting programmatic partners’ needs in an efficient and effective manner, and ensuring our business and output are consistently customer-focused.

 

We are excited to find someone well-versed in the programmatic partner space, with extensive knowledge and understanding in such a unique domain. You can speak the language our partners speak, advise them on types of traffic they can send us, and understand how to actively work with and encourage our partners to ensure steady high-quality traffic.

 

You will be working cross-functionally with an exceptional team of account managers, as well as business leadership. You will knowledge-share and discuss multiple new and exciting opportunities in an evergrowing space. 

What you'll be doing

  • Successfully manage partnership opportunities and ensure delivery for all partners and partner service requirements spanning multiple verticals
  • Scope partnership requirements linked to deliverables in a timely manner, providing recommendations on approach
  • Act as an expert on partner performance for both external partners, and Business Development & Strategy teams
  • Record and document the progression of partners to senior-level management
  • Implement updates to all partnerships when deemed necessary
  • Resolve partnership questions and/or issues related to the Partnership Platform
  • Push and empower partners to go live
  • Handle contract cycles and legal reviews
  • Grow and optimize existing relationships, with knowledge of when to stop partnerships

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years of affiliate marketing experience, with a deep understanding of web-based tracking technology, optimizing campaigns and optimizing traffic 
  • Exceptional written and communication skills
  • Superb interpersonal relationship skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent and proven customer service skills
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Ability to identify and extract insights from trends in traffic and behavior
  • Technical knowledge of programmatic lexicon
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work unsupervised, to plan and prioritize, and meet deadlines
