Account Manager - Uniforms Category (5+ Years' Exp.)

Responsibilities
The Account Manager in this role will support and lead the account for HAVI's newly acquired category uniform program for our largest customer. Not a sales or business development role, rather you will frequently engage with financial management, pricing, and uniform suppliers, and you will provide design process guidance. This role will play a critical role in developing the uniforms category strategy, coordinating the customer's working programs, leading initiatives, and managing the engagement of suppliers and internal SMEs in support of these deliverables. Additional responsibilities:
- Clearly communicate our value proposition through internal teams and directly to the customer
- Support variance account management and national/supplier pricing
- Manage uniform suppliers – provide guidance based on set goals for program and inventory levels
- Identify KPIs and establish goals for each supplier in all areas of the business
- Develop & provide a path to orchestrate optimal number of elements for the uniform program, SKU optimization plan
- Set guardrails in product development process to manage SKUs; set the stage for greater influence and efficiencies upstream in the manufacturing/production cycle
- Support growth of the category and/or evolution of our category management, fully leveraging our core competencies to optimize and possibly global management
- Develop account opportunities and mitigate account issues
- Optimize delivery on agreed-upon services
- Ensure effective internal communication and alignment with relevant customer stakeholders and key departments
- Collect and disseminate as necessary appropriate account intelligence to various HAVI stakeholders
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of business experience in a customer facing role, preferably account management or operations
- General understanding of RFP process and ability to guide and execute
- Uniforms or category/project management experience required
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Proven record of accomplishment of managing through influence
- Relationship-building with different stakeholders
- Proven experience in leading, managing and motivating non-direct reports
- A self-motivated individual combined with result driven approach and entrepreneurial thinking
- Outstanding verbal and written communication
- Excellent presentation skills
- Experience working with multi-functional teams
Additional Deisred Experience:
- Purchasing/logistics/supply chain experience is a plus
- Understanding of / competencies within the QSR/food service space
