Position Overview

Paro is seeking to grow its team of Account Managers. They will be responsible for ensuring clients have the finance and accounting support they need. Account Managers are an essential part of our Customer Success team and will work cross-departmentally to ensure flawless execution and fulfillment on every project, as well as identify new client needs/cross-sell opportunities.

 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing Paro clients and Paro’s Freelance Experts to improve retention and lifetime value of customers
  • Provide consultative support for clients on project execution 
  • Act as intermediary and mediation between client and Expert
  • Look for opportunities to improve our clients’ finance and accounting processes and follow through by driving increased contract value, cross-selling/up-selling additional service lines - a strong emphasis on selling and closing new deals while growing existing ones 
  • Strategize with Experts on how to better deliver solutions for clients and help them manage their client portfolio 
  • Deliver feedback and guidance to our Experts on projects to help them be more successful
  • Project manage, forecast, troubleshoot as needed
  • Manage/grow your book of business by utilizing a team of the best freelance talent in the marketplace for your client’s projects
  • Deliver the best-in-class customer experience through proactive outreach, regular health checks and delighting our clients
  • Collaborate with the Sales team and identify areas to close new opportunities on existing accounts

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales or client management (fin-tech OR financial services is a plus)
  • Empathetic: you understand the business needs of current and prospective clients
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and will use creative approaches to get the job done
  • A strong communicator (verbal and written)
  • Technically proficient - ability to learn multiple software platforms (especially Salesforce)
  • Solution-driven and excel at solving problems, particularly in team settings
