Description & Requirements
Position Summary
The Analyst- Sales Capabilities (SC) assists in the SC team mission of designing- facilitating- and participating in connectivity processes between Commercial and Supply Chain to optimize forecast accuracy and minimize supply chain disruptions- while mitigating waste risk. The ideal candidate will thrive in cross-functional (working with Sales- Operations/Supply Chain- Marketing- Finance- and Legal on a weekly basis)- often ambiguous situations and will be able to take projects from ideation to execution. This role reports to the Senior Manager- Sales Operations.
Primary Responsibilities
The Analyst- Sales Capabilities will support the Sr Manager- Sales Operations in:

  • End to end demand review forecast- analytics- and presentations
    • Support AFH Sales Operations Sr Manager in all demand review tasks and preparation
    • Own the weekly sales pacing routine: Identify risks- opportunities- and key drivers influencing the demand forecast
    • Digitize existing routines by leveraging systems: Tableau- Salesforce- and vendor partnerships.
    • Integrate key outputs from the integrated business planning process into the sales playbook: Define areas of capacity to grow and hold- communicate key operational constraints- and drive the substitution process.
    • Own the allocation process: Monthly allocation requirements with sales and demand- host monthly meetings to communicate constraints- build customer facing documents to drive transparency.
    • Own the weekly sales pacing call by identifying emerging trends in the marketplace. Work with sales to assign and quantify drivers in the market place: Traffic- Elasticity- Wins- Loses- service- and promotional performance.
    • Identify SKUs with low forecast accuracy and conduct root cause analysis


  • Supply Chain Losses & waste mitigation analysis and execution
    • Manage analytics for Supply Chain Losses and work with Sales Operations Manager to identify commercial solutions for waste mitigation
    • Own the relationship with our vendors across the SCL Platform
    • Establish pricing across different entry points to drive stronger recovery in market
    • Execute weekly waste mitigation auction in partnership with Sales teams
    • Assist in strategic efforts to drive new capabilities in selling excess inventory.
    • Drive Category- sub category- and item level BIAS routines to reduce forecast error for key areas indicating high supply chain loses.


  • Process Improvement
    • Review existing processes- identify targeted performance improvement- and drive results through integration through people.


  • Own miscellaneous sales support as needed - e.g. Field and Customer Communications


Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of SalesforceDC strongly preferred
  • Self-starter with high levels of drive- energy- resilience and a desire for professional excellence
  • Ability to work and navigate effectively in a matrix organization
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders
  • Sales operations or support experience preferred

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
