Overview:

Rise Interactive (http://www.riseinteractive.com), a rapidly growing full service interactive advertising agency, is looking to hire a Business Analyst into the Customer Experience team. We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated individual contributor that is excited about joining the growing Customer Experience department and contributing professionally to an entrepreneurial company with an expanding Fortune 500 client base.

Summary and Scope:

The Business Analyst will work closely with Functional Leads and Project Managers to drive requirement
definition, prioritization and contribute to project scoping estimates. They must be comfortable working
with a variety of teams/individuals including User Experience, Creative, Technical, and Program
Management.They will also help with any testing/QA initiatives needed as well.

Responsibilities:

• Helps to determine the approach and methodology that best suits the task requirements and client environment
• Serves as a Functional/Domain expert on the project team
• Contributes to a variety of deliverables and may manage a single activity or stream of work
• Adept at identifying, quantifying, and managing risk to project delivery
• Extrapolate core project requirements based on client needs and translates to project documentation
• Ability to define a problem, possible conclusions and present options for mitigation
• The ability to prepare and execute test scripts and document test results with minimal direction from team lead or project manager
• Actively contribute to client working sessions
• Organized and structured in written and oral communications
• Experience in one of more of the following solution sets: Corporate Sites, Consumer Sites, B2B Sites, RIA/Web 2.0 Applications, Employee Portals, and Marketing Platforms
• Understands the elements of User Experience and the application and benefits of a User-Centered Design process in the delivery of solutions
• Maintains a cursory understanding of new and emerging technologies and their potential application at a client

Required Skills:

● Bachelors degree
● 3+ years professional experience in consulting with at least 2 years experience as a Functional
Analyst
● Consulting experience delivering web channel solutions at an enterprise scale
● Understanding of user experience design and Rich Internet Applications
● Experience serving as the functional subject matter expert on projects based on previous
experience and/or the ability to quickly learn and become the resident expert
● Experience serving as a QA tester on projects, experience leading test phase or component of
testing preferred
A sound understanding of requirements gathering processes, tools, and templates
● A thorough understanding of functional, regression, and quality assurance testing
● The ability to create use cases, requirements traceability matrix, functional design documents,
and test scripts with minimal direction and support from team lead or manager
