We’re looking for a strategic Business Analyst. Is it you?
Technical, focused, and thorough, you are perfectly equipped to align the different moving parts of a business. You can successfully act as a liaison between various teams to achieve mutual goals, and you know how to ensure those results satisfy the end user as well. Your patience and attention to detail make you an ideal resource for moving projects forward and reaching desired business results.
Here’s what a Business Analyst does at Evive (for people who like bullet lists):
- Deliver high-quality software products to market in a timely fashion, aligning with strategic goals and client needs.
- Communicate release-level business needs to teams and stakeholders, set appropriate acceptance criteria to meet business needs for minimum viable product, and simplify those business needs into user stories.
- Plan, monitor, and analyze requirements throughout the roadmap and release planning, ensuring development teams can be continually fed.
- Work with peer Business Analysts and Product Managers regarding cross-team dependencies, and remain consistently mindful of improving portfolio interests—not just product interests.
- Support a continuous feedback loop from Customer to Product Manager to Product Owner and Scrum team.
- Work with Product Management to build business cases when needed.
- Build and maintain user stories to use when communicating with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Take the hand-off of requirements that build throughout the year as an iterative process, documenting in the product management and development management systems throughout.
You bring a lot to the table.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Information Science or other relevant business-related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Understanding of systems engineering concepts.
- Experience conducting cost/benefit analyses.
- Experience with business case development and modeling techniques and methods.
- Experience in SaaS or consumer websites/apps preferred, but not required.
