Overview

JDK seeks an experienced consultative individual enthusiastic to apply their 7+ years of sales experience in the technology space, to a strategic role where you’ll define, plan and execute the sales strategy at the company. The right person will use proven lead generation and acquisition tactics showcasing JDK’s unique “True Systems”  methodology. You will lead conversations with influencers and decision-makers around digital innovation, establish needs, recommend solutions and set meetings. You are hands-on and proactively establish and nurture relationships to meet and exceed monthly and annual appointment/opportunity goals. You’ll work side by side with the CEO, Marketing, and Product to constantly develop your knowledge about JDK’s services and True Systems methodology.

Responsibilities

Define the Sales Strategy

  • Partner with the CEO to define, plan and execute the sales strategy from the ground up
  • Learn, understand and effectively communicate JDK's True Systems methodology and why it differentiate us from the competition, and consistently satisfies clients
  • Work with Marketing and Product Management teams to ensure successful sales effort
  • Define SQLs and the various stages of the sales cycle
  • Work with the CEO, Product and Marketing to define the target market
  • Define our target persona and the buyer’s journey map
  • Formalize proven acquisition and lead generation tactics into the sales strategy
  • Grow the sales team, as appropriate and approved by management

Hands-on Sales

  • Use phone and email to generate high quality B2B sales leads
  • Drive targeted outbound sales campaigns that generate net new customer leads, nurture existing leads and identify upsell opportunities in existing accounts
  • Build the sales pipeline
  • Qualify and follow up on leads generated by the marketing department
  • Establish, maintain and develop relationships with decision makers and business owners to ensure revenue growth
  • Meet clients and prospects on a regular basis to build and nurture relationships and seek new opportunities
  • Conduct account mapping, research and contact discovery for prospects and target accounts
  • Track lead, opportunity and account activity in our CRM on a daily basis
  • Provide accurate updates and forecasts of lead progression/status
  • Hit monthly quotas of qualified opportunities
  • Minimal travel required (Trade Shows and Events)
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets within specified sales territory/geography

Requirements & Qualifications

  • College Degree
  • 7+ years sales experience at a technology company of exclusive B2B lead development experience in software sales
  • 3+ years exclusive experience in software development, agencies or professional services
  • Knowledge and experience selling enterprise technology solutions and consulting
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills
  • Outstanding follow-up and attention to detail
  • Excellent business writing, communication, presentation skills and phone presence
  • Must be able to uncover opportunities in an aggressive market by identifying client requirements and providing recommendations/solutions
  • Proficiency with ActiveCampaign or other CRM solutions
  • Target Market Analysis
  • Consistent record of achieving sales quotas and goals
