THE POSITION

The Business Development Manager will be a key part of InContext’s Revenue team. They will be the first touch point for prospective clients and will be responsible for developing and nurturing new business leads; ultimately converting them into prospective client meetings for the senior business development partners. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and have an aggressive “self-starter” mentality that can thrive in an entrepreneurial fast paced growth environment.

The impact you will have:

  • Generate a pipeline of new leads in existing or prospective CPG, Retail and Partner accounts
  • Build list of prospective buyers and influencers
  • Design and execute outreach sequences, including outbound and inbound calls/emails to leads
  • Cultivate opportunities through education and awareness of InContext’s value proposition and offerings
  • Meet and exceed targets for outreach and positive response rates
  • Be the champion for account based marketing execution plan within your target customer / prospect segments
  • Responsible for converting qualified marketing leads to qualified sales leads
  • Star collaborator with sales, marketing, and operations team members
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of InContext sales processes and products/services
  • Work with Salesforce and relevant tech stack to implement prospecting strategies

What you bring to the table:

  • 1 to 2 years of sales related experience or similar
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to identify and overcome objections and execute follow-up actions
  • Demonstrate high degree of motivation, initiative, and professionalism
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
  • Self-starter with solid organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to listen and willingness to learn
  • Competent with CRM platforms such as Salesforce
  • Has a track record of success working with cross functional teams and co-workers at all levels in a fast-paced setting
  • An openness to coaching, ongoing feedback, and continual improvement
  • An eagerness to contribute to a culture of camaraderie, recognition, and innovation
