Job description
As a Business Development Manager, you will join a high-paced team working in various roles including new business lead generation, managing full-cycle sales processes, overseeing implementations (e.g., project management), and building lasting relationships with our customers to ensure their success on Tock's platform. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in revenue-generating roles, is detail-oriented, demonstrates excellent communication skills, and has the ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5+ years of B2B SaaS sales (quota bearing) experience
- Must be a quick learner with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and writing skills
- Experience analyzing data and presenting results
- Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
- Experience in Salesforce pipeline management and reporting
- Google Suite experience
What you'll be doing
- Meet and exceed sales revenue goals and overall business objectives
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation
- Become a Tock product expert to lead product demonstrations
- Build your territory pipeline of prospects through cold-calling, internet search, networking, and cultivating referrals
- Building and expanding customer relationships to expand Tock's growth
- Reviewing customer performance and providing insights into best practices
- Developing project plans and overseeing new customer onboardings
- Assisting with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required
- Working closely with staff across departments to implement growth strategies
