Role Overview: The Sales Development Representative is responsible for building the sales pipeline with Convr's target accounts. They will execute the company's Account Based Marketing strategy through research and individual outreach to schedule appointments with the appropriate individuals within each account. This role reports to our Chief Business Development Officer and works with multiple departments, such as but not limited to marketing, sales, and product.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Actively seek out new sales leads and business opportunities through active networking and sending personal, strategic, value-add emails, calls and social messages (no copying and pasting)
  • Quickly research a company & it's key contacts, identify opportunities, and strategize an approach to create interest
  • Profile potential prospects based on predetermined criteria
  • Partner with the Convr Sales team to execute our Account Based Marketing (ABM) strategy
  • Secure meetings for your assigned Business Development Executives


Role Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree (preferably in Marketing, Humanities, Communications or Business)
  • Have a verifiable track record of success and goal attainment in a sales-oriented role (preferred)
  • Have .5 - 1 year in a BDR/SDR role (preferred)
  • Experience with enterprise CRM (preferred)
  • Must be able to commute to our Schaumburg location as needed
