UpCity is experiencing rapid growth and is looking to bring onboard a Business Development Representative with 1-2 years sales experience. You should bring high-energy everyday, love competition, and have a passion for helping companies grow.

Who is our ideal candidate?

-You are passionate about advancing your sales career in a startup environment

-You are self-motivated and require minimal direction to simply get things done

-You learn quickly

-You have superior communication skills and like working in a team environment

-You love solving challenges and taking on new initiatives

-You are a curious by nature and like to ask questions

-You can quickly identify a quality prospect and log detailed information in Salesforce

-You enjoy staying on top of industry news and trends


What you will deliver:

-Drive sales growth by finding and engaging qualified prospects via phone and email

-Set appointments for sales representatives working within a POD to generate new revenue

-Connect with and quickly develop relationships with key contacts and prospects

-Collaborate with marketing and sales on lead quality and conversion

-Build a pipeline and execute on early stages of the sales process

-Create and prioritize strategic target account lists

-Achieve annual quotas of qualified opportunities and closed business

-Work with sales force to implement prospecting strategies

-Provide weekly accurate forecasts to the sales organization and executive management

What you need:

-1+ years inside sales experience, digital marketing a big plus

-Willingness and desire to work in a startup environment

-Experience being held to metrics a plus

-Discipline to maintain high call volumes

-Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university; Business degree preferred
