JOB SUMMARY

QualSights is looking for a Business Development Representative to be the front line and initial point of contact for our sales team. Your core responsibilities revolve around making a great first impression with new leads, generating interest in our unique capabilities, efficiently moving leads through our sales process and engaging with existing leads over time. The most important personal qualities you can bring to the table are examples of being self-motivated, process oriented and a natural enthusiasm for working with people. An ideal candidate will be driven by a curiosity to understand client challenges and goals, and how our technology creates value for their business. This is a client facing role that will offer the opportunity to interact with some of the world's largest brands (CPG, Retail, Pharma, etc.) and research agencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Outbound sales prospecting and lead generation
  • Learn key systems including QualSights, sales CRM and lead gen tools
  • Clearly communicate the value of our platform
  • Research key target accounts, identify contacts through LinkedIn and other sources, and create prospecting lists
  • Address all sales-related queries and replies in a timely manner
  • Track activity in CRM diligently and provide weekly updates on activity levels
  • Qualify sales leads and schedule intro calls and/or product demos
  • Work closely with marketing to improve lead quality
  • Work closely with the customer success manager and assist with client support and account management as needed
  • Consistently achieve weekly targets for sales activity and monthly targets for qualified opportunities

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • We are looking for a tech-savvy person with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to their responsibilities
  • 1+ years related experience in an outbound sales, business development or account management role, preferably for a B2B software company
  • Must be effective at managing multiple tasks and prioritizing time
  • Highly organized and process oriented
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to occasionally attend calls during off-hours for prospects or clients in different time zones
  • Bonus for candidates that have experience with Salesforce, email sequences, and/or the market research/consumer insights field
