Business Development Representative

Forager is growing. Due to this growth, we’re looking for Business Development Representatives who are a highly motived, high-achieving individual who want to work in sales and make every customer interaction count.

What will you do?

  • Develop a pipeline of opportunities to convert into accounts with time and effort
  • Build and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with customers and coworkers to maximize opportunity
  • Conduct productive conversations with potential customer to understand their freight and potential painpoints in order to provide the most qualified leads possible
  • Conduct lead generation campaigns, with target market and timing direction provided by Sales Leadership. This includes:
  • Gathering lead information from various sources in order to build target lists for prospecting activities.
  • Following a clear process for lead generation using various methods (cold calling, cold emailing, etc.).
  • Documenting all activity within the CRM in order to track activity and measure results.
  • Making process adjustments as needed based on outcomes.
  • Maintain all CRM prospect data to ensure data quality on an ongoing basis, ensuring that all required fields and client demographics are correct and consistently review to see that prospect information is current and accurate in terms of assignments, status, industry, market and other important fields.

  • Strong work ethic and persistence combined with a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills with an attention to detail.
  • Capability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial type willing to take and learn from risks.
  • Computer and database experience with MS Outlook and Excel; Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Customer service or sales experience a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish or French) a HUGE plus.
