A venture-backed digital health company that uses predictive analytic technology to help providers recognize and empower patients who have increased risk for cancer at scale, is searching for a Business Development Representative to assist in the expansion of potential sales opportunities and customer relationships. Candidates for this role should be highly-motivated individuals looking to begin a career in digital healthcare sales who enjoy making meaningful connections.

The Role

• Develop and manage a pipeline of business leads and prospects such as cancer centers, breast centers, and health systems. • Create and build strong relationships with key business prospects and clients at varying levels up to and including cancer center administrators and C-suite executives

• Help prospective customers understand relative products, services, and value proposition • Identify decision-makers at target accounts and engage to develop sales opportunities

• Assess customer needs and use resources available to you to help hand-off qualified sales opportunities to sales leaders

• Complete a high volume of outreach through cold calling, emailing, etc.

• Attend product trade shows and events as necessary

• Identify opportunities for partnering and growth

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience of sales in the healthcare field (hospital sales or academic medical center sales ideal)

• Experience working for an early or growth stage SaaS company preferred

• Bachelor’s degree and/or a combination of healthcare, oncology, genetics or molecular biology education preferred

• Self-motivated, success-driven mentality with an even-keeled personality

• Extremely strong verbal and communication skills
