Job Summary:

The Business Development Specialist will support the Business Development team on all aspects of identifying, cultivating and closing new business.

Responsibilities:

Work with Business Development Sellers and Leaders to prepare for client presentations including research on prospects and presentation decks across all verticals including: Retail, Restaurants, Travel, Financial Services, etc.

  • Partner with Sales Operations to keep salesforce up to date and shaped to fit the needs of the day to day business.

  • Provide various reports to BD sales leadership with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Collaborate with marketing team to keep sales materials up to date, marketing outreaches to prospects and preparation for sellers for conferences and industry events.

  • Assist with prospecting for advertisers across multiple verticals.

  • Research current market trends, industry news and share weekly with sales team.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • 1-3 Years of Professional Sales & Marketing Business Experience

  • Strong business and strategic planning acumen

  • Solid quantitative background with an understanding of analytic tools and techniques

  • Understanding of marketing program design, execution, and measurement

  • Effective communication across multiple levels of an organization

  • Works well in a team/highly collaborative environment

  • Demonstrated Sales & Business Development Experience

  • Strong Computer Skills: Microsoft Office and Sales Management software (i.e. Salesforce.com)
