BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
Job Summary:
The Business Development Specialist will support the Business Development team on all aspects of identifying, cultivating and closing new business.
Responsibilities:
Work with Business Development Sellers and Leaders to prepare for client presentations including research on prospects and presentation decks across all verticals including: Retail, Restaurants, Travel, Financial Services, etc.
Partner with Sales Operations to keep salesforce up to date and shaped to fit the needs of the day to day business.
Provide various reports to BD sales leadership with accuracy and timeliness.
Collaborate with marketing team to keep sales materials up to date, marketing outreaches to prospects and preparation for sellers for conferences and industry events.
Assist with prospecting for advertisers across multiple verticals.
Research current market trends, industry news and share weekly with sales team.
Requirements:
1-3 Years of Professional Sales & Marketing Business Experience
Strong business and strategic planning acumen
Solid quantitative background with an understanding of analytic tools and techniques
Understanding of marketing program design, execution, and measurement
Effective communication across multiple levels of an organization
Works well in a team/highly collaborative environment
Demonstrated Sales & Business Development Experience
Strong Computer Skills: Microsoft Office and Sales Management software (i.e. Salesforce.com)
