Who We're Looking For

The Career Coach at Victory Lap will work closely with the Sales, Recruiting, and Employer Partner Success teams to help identify and match candidates with opportunities that result in milestone achievements and measurable outcomes for the long-term success of both Victory Lap and it’s customers. Key components of the role will be to provide individual and candidate-specific coaching for professional development and preparation for employment, identifying and connecting participants with education, skills training, work-based training, and placement opportunities all while documenting all communication and follow-up efforts with participants, partners, and internal team.

How You'll Make An Impact

• You will be the key contact that is helping our candidates find the role of their dreams and succeed in their career sooner!
• Acting as our candidates’ go-to person throughout their job search, the impact will be measurable through CSAT Scores and Interview Success, but also in the connection, you make with each and every candidate!
• Scheduling 1:1 and small group coaching sessions with candidates to determine skill level, industry experience, and education/training needs to ensure proper company fit
• Be the in-house expert for resume building, interviewing etiquette, salary negotiation, and overall career advice
• Manage an ever-evolving pipeline of candidates who are active in Victory Lap’s network through calls, emails, in-person meetings, etc. to ensure each candidate is receiving the appropriate level of coaching and support
• Collaborate closely with recruiting and Employer Partner Success Manager to ensure all information is being communicated appropriately on candidates’ behalf to Victory Lap’s Employer partners
• Lead training and events centered on career coaching topics for candidates and prospective candidates

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 2-5 years as a career coach, full desk recruiter with a passion for coaching, or salesperson with experience mentoring or advising
• A leader who creates loyalty and trust with teammates and candidates
• Demonstrates a high level of resiliency as human behavior is unpredictable
• Proactive is common in your vocabulary and day to day actions; you like to get ahead of problems before they present themselves
• Ability to think strategically, execute effectively, and deliver high-quality work against tight deadlines
• Exhibits the ability to build and implement new processes to streamline communications while keeping the candidate in mind
• Excellent communication skills and organizational awareness to allow for a consultative approach
• Demonstrates the ability to roll with the punches and be a creative problem solver
• Lives with a team-first mentality
