Carrier Relations Representative

What will you be doing?
Carrier Relations Representative are responsible for prospecting, onboarding, and growing relationships with carriers. As the Carrier Relations Manager, you will work directly with other functions within carrier sales to ensure new carriers are properly assigned to representatives and/or regions. You will also work directly with the assigned representatives and respective region leadership to assist with growth. In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving overall carrier experience across all departments as it pertains to working directly with MoLo.
Main Responsibilities:
- Cold call and develop relationships with existing and potential carriers
- Collaborate across the carrier department to identify high-potential carriers that MoLo can grow
- Schedule in person meetings with carriers and travel as necessary
- Onboard new carriers into MoLo's network
- Profile and record all sales activity within MoLo's customer relationship management system
- Work across departments to identify freight opportunities to grow MoLo's footprint with relationship carriers
- Collaborate with carrier leadership to roll out new initiatives to improve carrier experience
- Responsible for organic growth and monitoring said growth within portfolio of relationship carriers
- Meet or exceed the monthly KPI's set by carrier leadership
Requirements
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 1 year of carrier sales experience
- Sales minded individual and team-oriented player
- Self-motivated individual with proven sales ability
- Desire to build and maintain long term strategic partnerships
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive under deadlines and hit designated metrics
- Proven ability to move beyond transactional mindset while working with carriers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
