Cohesion is a leading Intelligent Buildings software solution that is disrupting how buildings operate and how people engage with buildings – from real estate owners, operators, building engineers, to tenants and visitors. Our cutting-edge converged IoT-enabled platform brings together building systems, building software, and business applications into a single portal on web and mobile platforms to forge the path to autonomous buildings.

The Chief Revenue Officer (“CRO”) is Cohesion’s strategic leader, visionary, team supervisor, and an advocate of the organization's commercial activities to deliver value to the company. The CRO will collaborate, measure, and provide c-level support with growth initiatives, all in the name of expansion and results.

The primary goals of the CRO are to lead the functional areas of business development/ sales, channel partnerships, marketing and customer success. This role is responsible for developing sales standards and processes, identifying and closing new business opportunities, and managing the team to deliver revenue. They will also oversee Cohesion’s channel partnership opportunities. Building out the company’s customer success efforts and leading the marketing vision and priorities will also fall under the Chief Revenue Officer. The role requires a visionary and innovative leader with strong communication and people management skills who carries out the company’s mission with ruthless prioritization while delivering on customer obligations. This position will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will be a member of the newly forming Executive Leadership Team.

To achieve all this the CRO will have full P&L responsibility for the finance and budgets of the sales, marketing, partnerships, and customer success teams. Harnessing budget insight across all the functions allows a level of agility to allocate resources in the best way possible to serve growth. Strategies that are not yielding results can swiftly be replaced while experimenting with product developments that serve future customer needs. The CRO will also be responsible for building a team of 20-25 people over the next 12-18 months to achieve these goals.

What You'll Do

The CRO cares just as much about activities above and below the funnel as they do the sales funnel itself.  Attracting and delighting customers are just as important as closing them. The CRO will also harness the power of data to drive and adapt go-to-market strategies and tactics that drive profitable growth.
