Role Description:

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing logistical solutions for small businesses using the full suite of ShipBob's services. There are unique requirements and circumstances for each merchant. An Account Executive must be able to consult e-commerce businesses during their fulfillment exploration process, qualify that a Shipbob partnership is a mutual fit, and successfully on-board potential clients onto the Shipbob dashboard.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Run transportation time and cost-benefit analysis reports
  • Present and demonstrate the value of ShipBob's services to potential merchants
  • Create and maintain relationships through multiple touch points 
  • Educate merchants on the full functionality of ShipBob's dashboard, then walk through the on-boarding process 
  • Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication
  • Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs

Experience/Skills Required:

  • 3+ years of proven success in an account executive role 
  • Experience selling over the phone and smart calling various types of businesses/merchants 
  • Demonstrate a high degree of diligence and accountability
  • Comfortable in a competitive environment, with evidence of personal ambition 
  • Relentless persistence in the face of daily rejection and delays from potential merchants
  • An aptitude for research and analysis
