The Role:
The Client Success team plays a leading role in higi’s strategic and financial growth. This critical function is responsible for the backbone of the business – clients – and supporting them across the entire client lifecycle. This lifecycle stretches from solution scoping and defining client-higi business goals during the final phase of the sales process, to leading implementation and definition of KPIs (key performance indicators); and finally, to driving ongoing adoption / usage and managing client retention and renewals. The Client Success team partners with nearly every team within higi to build and maintain a culture of serving clients, balanced with a mindset of efficient scaling. Furthermore, the Client Success team ensures that we develop solutions that provide unique, sustainable value to our clients and that maximize our reach, potential, and positioning in the market. The team reports to higi’s VP of Client Success.
What you will be doing:
- Serve as a market subject matter expert and represent the voice of the customer to inform commercial strategy, solution development / iteration processes, and product roadmap
- Maintain laser-focus on and accountability for the end-to-end success of assigned clients
- Accelerate the final phase of our sales process leading solution scoping and definition of client and joint higi-client goals
- Lead the cross-functional client implementation process balancing the needs of the client with the needs of higi, with an eye towards efficiency and scalability
- Define, track, and manage KPIs; identify and execute opportunities to improve
- Ensure clients are strong higi advocates (e.g., willing to provide references and testimonials, to publish joint case studies, etc.)
- Be accountable for assigned clients’ retention and renewals and associated revenue
- Identify account growth and expansion opportunities by understanding clients’ strategic and business needs and their success drivers.
What we are looking for:
- Experience being accountable to a revenue target
- 3+ years in Client / Customer Success, Account Management, or a similar role
- Experience building and maintaining trusted relationships across multiple levels of an organization and positioning oneself as a trusted thought-partner and disciplined executer
- Results-driven mentality, with a bias towards speed and action
- Persistence and creative thinking to reach end goals, via alternative paths as necessary
- Empathy and positivity, with a foundational desire to help clients achieve their goals
- Experience working with large, enterprise healthcare customers
- Experience working with patient, employee, member, and consumer engagement programs
Key Skills:
- Exceptional communication skills, highly organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights and to tell a story
- PowerPoint and Excel proficiency
- Comfort in a dynamic startup environment: we move quickly and wear many hats; willingness and ability to “roll up sleeves” and “figure it out” is essential
