As a Commercial Insurance Specialist, you’ll be a member of our global procurement team that is responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle across a wide variety of assets and programs. In this role, you’ll administer all property & casualty insurance programs for the firm and perform some miscellaneous general contracts administration for other services as needed.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage all Property & Casualty insurance programs/contracts; set appropriate limits and coverages, competitively bid and negotiate insurance-specific renewals and administer insurance claims
  • Review proposed contracts for Property & Casualty insurance and recommend changes in coverage and terms as necessary; work with business stakeholder to determine coverage needs
  • Provide guidance to business stakeholders on appropriate limits, coverage terms and risks; review and approve insurance terms in business contracts
  • Work with field operations team to ensure appropriate safety measures are in place and provide ongoing support
  • Maintain and distribute certificates of insurance as needed
  • Monitor status of all claims and potential claims
  • Process requests to add, cancel or change covered locations/assets
  • Develop and present cost/benefit analysis and reporting to management
  • Negotiate favorable terms and pricing on new contracts and contract renewals
  • Present negotiated options to business stakeholders and make recommendations
  • Manage and develop key vendor/brokerage relationships
  • Process new contract requests, in conjunction with Legal and Purchasing teams
  • Document business terms accurately in contract management system
  • Work closely with Accounting team to validate invoices and cost allocations

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience administering Property & Casualty insurance programs in a business setting
  • Strong understanding of claims management and processes
  • Strong knowledge of insurance lines (Property, General Liability, etc.)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel; Tableau experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; superior attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Exceptional analytical thinking and problem solving skills
