THE POSITION

The Customer Success team is passionate about helping our clients make smarter investment decisions! We are responsible for establishing and growing relationships with our users and driving adoption of the YCharts platform.

The Customer Development Manager is a hybrid position encompassing business development, sales, and client support, and is key to YCharts’ future success. Responsibilities include:

  • Onboarding new accounts, educating clients on benefits and use cases of the YCharts platform, and measuring and reducing time to value
  • Learning about our clients’ businesses to drive usage and enable their success by aligning YCharts tools with their needs
  • Developing relationships and proactively engaging key opportunities to generate, qualify, and upsell current accounts

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Is highly motivated and passionate about finance/financial technology.
  • Possesses great communication skills to understand and provide solutions to our clients’ needs.
  • Has a knack for sales and a competitive spirit.
  • Thrives in a dynamic environment with strong attention to detail and organization to effectively manage pipelines and meetings.
  • Has excellent relationship building and maintenance skills.  (i.e. must know how to approach stressful situations and when to spot expansion opportunities.)
  • Solves problems and prioritizes tasks according to urgency and importance.
  • Understands how the financial markets work and is curious about how our industry works.
  • Has a strong interest in investing and an understanding of financial statements and investment vehicles (Equities vs ETFs vs Mutual Funds etc...)
  • Has previous experience or internship in the financial services industry, a plus.
  • Closing experience, a plus.

All YCharters are provided the flexibility to work from wherever, whether it be the office, their home, an Airbnb out-of-state, or even the country! As long as they continue to achieve their goals, we’re leaving our flexible policy available.

For those who do want to come into the office, we moved into a brand new space and added a state-of-the-art air filtration system, a $20/day stipend for office lunches via Grubhub, new fun games, tons of snacks as well a massage chair in our peace room to regroup after a long call.

All remote YCharters are given the option of having monitors, a desk and tech equipment sent to their residence.

Lastly, and probably most importantly, we all know and felt the effects COVID had on our mental and physical health.
