Job Description

DigitalMint is seeking a Cyber Settlement Associate to join our Cyber Settlement Services division. You will be the primary point of contact for clients to purchase cryptocurrency for ransomware incidents. In this position, you will need to have a proven track record of success in cyber security account management or sales.

What You’ll Do

• Build long-term relationships with Incident Response Consultants, Cyber Forensics, Ransomware Negotiators, and Insurance Carriers
• Manage lifecycle of a ransomware case, from initial incident report to final payment settlement
• Maintain, evolve, and document the formal cyber settlement process
• Lead incident response training exercises including with clients to develop understanding of security practices
• Generate new leads from Law Firms, Insurance Carriers, Incident Response Consultants, and Cyber Forensic Consultants
• Ensure an active presence at relevant industry trade shows
• Develop knowledge of governance and risk standards and practices
• Provide off-hours support as required

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of cyber security, threat intelligence, or incident response, or security services account management or business development experience
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop/execute corresponding objectives
• Strong verbal and written communications, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
• An understanding of the cyber landscape including types of adversaries and the motivations that drive them is require
• Ability to communicate situations to technical and non-technical audiences and senior management
