We're seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, skilled communicator to act as a Digital Sales Specialist for our North America team. The Digital Sales Specialist is a new role that will be incubated within the sales team. This role is primarily focused on: 

  • Helping customers uncover digital needs and providing solutions to benefit their business 

  • Helping guide customers to get the most value out of the cutting-edge products Life Fitness offers 

  • Helping customers navigate the technical foundation that will best serve their business as they learn about the ways connected fitness products can transform their business 

 

Your expertise will be focused on key accounts and the most interesting sales opportunities. A Life Fitness Digital Sales Specialist creates a trusting relationship with customers, advises sales managers on technical issues, and demonstrates the value of cutting edge connected fitness products for a variety of customers and segments. 

 

What you will accomplish in this role (responsibilities and duties): 

  • Explain possible technical solutions to customer’s business challenges 

  • Prepare and perform technical presentations  

  • Analysis of customer technical requirements 

  • Act as single point of contact for technical inquiries 

  • Create a strong, trusting relationship with customers 

  • Provide technical support for distributers and dealers 

  • Advise sales representatives on technical issues 

  • Create articles for technical issues 

  • Onboard all new clients and retain existing clients 

  • Spearhead all client communications once onboarding has taken place for a successful transition 

  • Work cross-functionally with sales, order management, support and engineering as key resources 

  • Consult customers on maximizing the use of the digital offering by demonstrating best practices 

  • Deliver product demonstrations and engage in technical discussions with existing customers 

  • Assist the sales team by establishing technical credibility, and qualifying prospects 

  • Partner with the team to assist customers in software deployment 

  • Maintain current knowledge of Life Fitness products and supporting technologies including operating systems, storage, and networking 

  • Advise prospects with regard to best practices for software, network configuration, server configuration, resource allocation, and ongoing operations. 

  • Advocate for customer needs/issues cross-departmentally, help drive resolution to any customer issues pertaining to the solution  

  • Maintain customer portfolio and relationships with a regular check-in cadence, ensuring customer satisfaction 

 

What we will be looking for (qualifications and skills):  

Required

  • Bachelor's degree 

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience 

  • Experience working with commercial customer solutions 

  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment, operate at a high-level with a great deal of autonomy, and effectively cut through ambiguity 

  • Customer focused mindset and effective communication skills 

  • Proven track record of contributing to a high performing sales team and overall organization exceeding quota and expectations 

  • Ability to map the customer’s business process and needs to product capability and solution areas 

  • Ability to Influence key executives and stakeholders within a customer 

  • Ability to contribute to the overall strategy and work independently 

  • Customer service focused, results-driven, excellent interpersonal skills 

  • Ability to interact in a professional, responsive, and timely manner with all levels of users; skilled interaction in a scientific-based user environment 

  • Proven organization and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and work independently 

  • Strong verbal and written skills, especially the ability to present to prospects and generate solution proposals, architectural diagrams, and integration specifications 

 

Preferred

  • Capability to be the owner and driver of the "technical win" in accounts 

  • Client-facing solutions delivery experience 

  • Experience with implementation and support of SaaS software 

  • Ability to confidently navigate conversations with business and technical leaders, facilitating the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences 

  • Familiarity with the fitness products, specifically connect fitness products, on the market 

  • Passion for fitness and the fitness industry, and how connected fitness can improve the industry
