As a Director of Client Development of Growth Accounts in the Media Vertical you will work with a number of current partners and new prospects across the Media and Entertainment vertical. Growth accounts include all the categories that encapsulate the Media and Entertainment including Advanced TV, Data, Adtech, Martech, Gaming, Audio, Publishers and more. You will have the ability to sell the full suite of TU solutions with a focus on Marketing Solutions. As part of your responsibilities, you will have active accounts where you will be asked to maintain as well as upsell and cross sell across the partner leveraging additional TU solutions. You will also have a number of new prospects that you will be asked to cultivate and ultimately move them to become long term customers of TU solutions. In addition to your client development activites you will play a key role in developing strategies to meet client needs as well as drive process approvements that reduce friction in solving client solutions, working across your team to help train peers and contribute to the overall success of the team. The ideal team member will embrace and leverage the sales team's existing rigor, discipline and process while seamlessly integrating sales operations and strategies that will help grow your ability to meet client needs.
What You'll Bring:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience building relationship and partnerships across the Media and Entertainment Ecosystem with specific experience selling data and identity solutions into business development and product teams.
  • Experience working with established customers as well as identifying new prospects and converting them to long term customers.
  • Past success as a leading producer as part of a sophisticated, energetic and winning solutions-based sales organization.
  • Advanced understanding of the Marketing and Entertainment ecosystem including best practices for use of planning, online and offline/online data, identity management, device/identity graphs, measurement and attribution plus monetization strategies.
  • Proven track record of success in growing a book of business thru maintaining and growing current customers and via adding new customers.
  • Demonstrated success in consultative selling, working directly with key decision makers.
  • A network of contacts and key relationships in the Marketing and Entertainment ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated sales discipline in maintaining and curating a pipeline, monitoring, and measuring strategic sales goals and outcomes, knowledge and use of next generation sales management tools such as Salesforce Lighting.
  • Proven solutions and product orientation with ability to understand factors driving customer demand, budgeting and purchasing behavior; an ability to translate product capabilities to broader based high end solutions which meet customer needs.
  • Desire to work, and successful track record, in a fast paced and highly dynamic environment required.
  • Bachelor's degree required; an MBA a plus.


Impact You'll Make:

  • Contribute to a growing team and successful sales environment where new products and solutions are offered to a sophisticated customer base with ever-increasing complexity and decision-making processes.
  • Identify, develop and execute a strategy for growing current and establishing new partner revenue growth from TransUnion's top U.S. Media and Entertainment prospects.
  • Develop a keen understanding of customer needs and analyze the target customer base to understand their business and strategic fit with TransUnion.
  • Create new partnerships and sell TransUnion solutions to this market.
  • Drive the implementation and adoption of sales strategies that expand new customer's exposure to new products and solutions in the Marketing solutions space.
  • Serve as "eyes and ears" for market planning and new solutions/product development.
