The Director of Client Development role includes managing the needs of our current clients and building out the client base for the Tall Ridge business.  You will be responsible for understanding our client’s short-term and long-term needs and ensuring the Tall Ridge team is achieving our client’s goals.  You will be the client’s primary contact and be responsible for filtering communication from and to the client.  You will be instrumental in working with the Tall Ridge team and the client team to ensure we meet our collective financial goals.  Working closely with the Tall Ridge team, you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting and attracting new brands to work with Tall Ridge.  You will report to the President.

Qualifications / Overview of Role

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Must have a positive attitude, with high energy level and be coachable
  • Ability to build relationships and earn trust from your clients
  • Passion for building Tall Ridge into a market leader within the Outdoor category
  • 3+ years of proven account management experience
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
  • Proven track record in prospecting and onboarding new clients
  • Ability to engage VP of Sales, CFO and CEO in meaningful conversations surrounding Tall Ridge value proposition and ultimately convince them to partner with us
  • High-level ability to remain focused and self-motivated during sales cycles in order to effectively uncover, qualify and capture new business
  • Ability to work independently as well as partner with Tall Ridge management team
  • Ensure all relevant customer communication is captured in CRM system
