PowerReviews is seeking a Director, Corporate Sales to lead a sales team in our Chicago office. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efforts of a team of Corporate Sales Reps. This candidate must have experience managing the entire sales cycle, a track record on winning new business and the ability to assist new team members and they ramp up in the organization. The Director, Corporate Sales will report directly to the VP of Corporate Sales.

What You Will Do as the Director of Corporate Sales:

  • Manage a team of 5-8 Account Executives and Sr. Account Executives to meet or exceed the team’s sales target
  • Support, train, mentor and motivate the team to achieve activity metrics
  • Report daily, weekly and monthly sales results and updates through Salesforce.com
  • Develop clear expectations and ensure accountability for all employees
  • Successfully work with other departments (such as Marketing and Implementations) to ensure prospecting and on boarding efforts are inline with sales
  • Create an open sales environment while maintaining a team oriented environment

What You Will Bring to PowerReviews:

  • A proven track record of working closely with reps on your team in a player/coach role
  • History of organizational compliance with forecasting and SFDC best practices
  • Ability to strongly influence decision makers at the C and VP levels
  • Ability to enter the sales cycle at multiple points to help influence the outcome of an opportunity
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks for highest impact
  • Exemplary problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to simplify problems/situations

What You Will Have as a Director of Corporate Sales: 

  • Experience in partnering with Talent Acquisition to build a sales team
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • 5+ years of sales management experience in a fast growing company
  • Proven track record of reaching/exceeding personal sales goals
