Job Description
The Director of Digital Sales will focus on generating revenue via online Insurance sales. Working with UX, product marketing and channel marketing teams that drive traffic to the site, the Website Director will focus on optimization and substantial growth of our DIY digital conversion path. Key success metrics will include online engagement, conversion rates and sales revenue.
This individual will achieve this by working closely and bridging across senior management, internal teams, direct reports, brand founders and our customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Web Sales team
- Manage sales across all our web properties and continuously improve online sales performance
- Assess daily, weekly and monthly performance and provide regular performance updates
- Proactively identify, implement and measure tests to optimize effectiveness of specific pages and overall sales performance
- Manage digital content
- Optimize UX
- Regularly assess competition and maintain differentiated advantages
- Work with product marketing teams on new features and functionality
- Partner with analytics to analyze Online campaign funnel performance and results analysis
- Communicate Web sales performance & priorities via monthly presentations
- Manage a team - Develop and coach direct report(s) to help them achieve direct marketing goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or relevant marketing experience. MBA is a Plus
- 7+ years of experience in Ecommerce and Digital Sales
- Experience in Insurance a plus
- Web analytics

- Experience working with analytics teams on targeting and results analysis
