About the Role
CareAdvisors is looking for a Director of Health Plan Sales to join our growing team! Your main focus will be to strategize and execute on an effective sales strategy to increase our Medicaid Managed Care plan and Medicare Advantage health plan client-partnerships. As our Director of Health Plan Sales, you will oversee public health plan partnership strategy, execution, and overall management of partner relationships.
In this key role, you will have a unique opportunity to shape CareAdvisors’ growth and brand. We are looking for a candidate who has extensive Health Plan sales experience within the IL Medicare Advantage space and is an expert at building deep relationships with various Public Health Plans. Main Responsibilities
Own partnership & execution strategy on Medicaid and Medicare Advantage health plans - including developing a partnership playbook, developing 1:1 relationships with key partners in your target geography, and representing CareAdvisors at conferences and events
Introduce new or existing CareAdvisors products & solutions to Public Health Plans
Accountable for health plan bid deliverables inclusive of response to plan/consultant key questions, executive summaries, and the timeliness and accuracy of the overall response
Conduct ongoing business development activities to build a strong pipeline of prospective sales within the Medicare Advantage space
Negotiate and manage execution of Public Health Planship agreements
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Design teams to ensure a seamless experience for our Public Health Plan partners
Work with Sales & Marketing to develop and maintain effective sales reporting cadence
Maintain up-to-date sales data in HubSpot on each potential client to inform and support sales planning, product roadmaps and related priorities
Provide day-to-day support and mentoring to Business Development Reps; participate in the hiring process, onboarding, and ongoing mentoring & professional development
Other director-level duties as assigned
About the Requirements
BA/BS degree or similar college level education; in lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience
Demonstrated experience in complex Public Health Planships and/or B2B healthcare market
Established Consultant and/or Health Plan relationships; strongly preferred
Strong prospecting, qualifying, and negotiating skills; consultative sales approach with a business solution centric mindset
Previous experience negotiating public health contracts
Strong project management & organization skills
Entrepreneurial with an ability to create and follow plans yet flexible enough to respond to change while balancing multiple projects and priorities.
Strong and efficient communicator (both written and verbal)
Desire to learn, grow and develop as a first-class startup executive, and mentor to future team members
Passionate about the intersection of technology and healthcare
