Director of Partnerships and Ecosystem
The Director of Partnerships, Alliances and Ecosystem is responsible for leading the Strategic Initiative of establishing and growing our external alliances strategy and execution model for Origami Risk. In this role, the Director will coordinate activities being led/supported by a wide range of Origami departments. Among these are teams from Product (MSLs and TPMs), Legal, Sales, Service, Marketing, Operations, and Finance. The scope of responsibilities includes Origami's relationships with Systems Integrators/Service Providers, Brokers and Channel, and Technology and Data partners.
The role will be the single accountable leader for the end-to-end lifecycle of partnership activities including identification, sourcing, screening/prioritizing, commercial and technical agreements, partnership launching, on-going governance and performance management, and promotion or termination of agreements. The role will report to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Origami.

Strategy and Change Leadership
Within Origami
- Within Origami, serves as key decision-maker on strategic initiatives ("change the business") and represents the voice of our partners in all Origami executive team decisions
- Manages the identification, creation, and management of key-account/business relationships with key organizations to develop solutions and/or create complementary services to produce sales opportunities for the company.
- Drives collaboration across the organization to coordinate activities.
- Acts as a mentor to less experienced Origami team members
With External Partners
- Identifies marketable partner and alliance opportunities to maximize business value to both the client and to Origami.
- Engages in high-priority interactions with partner's senior leaders.
- Defines mutual goals and objectives and builds awareness and support of overall strategic benefits of the alliance.
- Works effectively with external parties for consistent, high-quality interactions.
- Assesses partner needs and articulates them internally.
- Evangelizes company products in conjunction with recruiting key alliances/partnerships.
Operational Excellence
- Establishes metrics to assess the impact of the solution(s) in the marketplace and the overall success of the alliance.
- Accountable for achievement of partner targets (to be confirmed).
- Establishes standard process, methods and tools including frameworks and resources.
- Produces and presents program reports for management and stakeholders.
- Manages team, directly and indirectly, with the goal of enhancing professional development and personal growth.
- Provides financial analyses, forecasting, and analysis studies associated with potential alliances/partnerships.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field required.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive management experience in a complex services, software and/or insurance industry environment.
- Previous experience in executing against strategic growth programs.
- Previous P&L and Operational responsibility.
- Superior communication and presentation skills.
- Insurance industry experience preferred.
