What will your day look like?
You will be a key role and be responsible for developing and executing on our strategy to increase our core share of market with new and existing employer partners. In addition, this leader will develop new opportunities with consumer brand partners to and work with multi-disciplinary teams to bring those opportunities to market. This bold leader will challenge the status quo and find unique opportunities to help Alliant be bold.
The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of B2B and B2B2C growth and the work will have measurable impact on Alliant. The Director must be comfortable leading others, jumping in support the sales process as necessary, and helping our existing partners reach their full potential.
Responsibilities

- Build an effective sales organization, pipeline, KPIs, forecasting and reporting
- Identify, prioritize, and execute market development objectives to grow market share, promote customer retention and drive revenue growth
- Create a consumer partner strategy framework and sales strategies that expand Alliant's U.S. presence
- Establish Alliant as a leader in financial benefits for employees and expand awareness of the Alliant brand within mid- and large-sized employers as well as the human capital and employee benefits space
- Drive activation and adoption of employer-to-employee/B2B2C campaign assets/programs with and through partners in the U.S.
- Consistently deliver results in meeting monthly and annual targets for partnership engagement and expansion, new partnerships, and new memberships
- Evaluate the effectiveness of strategies in order to analyze and provide go-forward recommendations
- Oversee the creation and deployment of comprehensive B2B marketing and sales support assets
- Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives, human capital, and technology partners
- Partner with member marketing, product, digital banking and technology to develop expansion strategies aligned with key enterprise metrics
- Conduct market analysis and intelligence to develop deep insights that help shape the success of new and existing partners
- Find innovative ways to enhance partnerships
- Drive continuous thought leadership and innovation in sales enablement programs and tools to enhance overall sales excellence
Leadership and Performance Management
- Deliver superior results through quality execution and best practice adaptation
- Demonstrate courage, ability and agility to understand and address organizational transition in real-time
- Navigate and influence stakeholders in the partnership management process and negotiate engagements
- Translate strategic and operating plans into meaningful direction of projects, goals, priorities and activities
- Capture, analyze, and understand the internal environment, team dynamics, and talent capabilities to address organizational refinement, agility and growth
- Continually assess and provide discerning sales development, insightful coaching, and optimize talent
- Must foster a high-performance culture where being proactive, accountable, ethical goes along with having fun
- Be a brand ambassador by sharing our savvy, selfless and socially responsible brand on a consistent basis
Adhere to and ensure compliance of all business transactions with policy and process of the Bank Secrecy Act. Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, company procedures and policies. Maintains integrity and ethics in all actions and conversations with or regarding credit union members and their accounts; complies with Privacy Act directives.
Qualifications
What makes you a great fit?
You'll be a great fit if in addition to the completion of a Bachelor's degree, required. Master's degree desired but not required, and you have:
- 15+ years proven professional experience in sales, business development, partnerships, market development, consulting, or revenue growth
- Minimum seven years of sales team management
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving new growth
- Experience selling to enterprise clients and the C-suite
- Preferred experience in one or more of the following industries: financial services, human capital applications, benefits software, or SaaS
- Goal oriented yet forward-thinking, flexible, and eager to take a creative approach to reach potential clients and exceed partner expectations
- Demonstrated relationship building skills with proven ability to build rapport
- Excellent verbal and written communications and a dynamic, engaging presenter
- Deep knowledge of B2B and B2BC pipeline generation strategies
- Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office competency required; intermediate Salesforce experience required
- Ability to travel approximately 25%
