What value you will add:
- Work in an engaging and dynamic environment focused on impacting education and working collaboratively
- Act as an Elevate K-12 evangelist
- Drive results with your team, while developing long-standing strategic partnerships
- Guide and ensure the team meets their personal and professional goals
- Meet individually with every member of your team (typically 5-9 outside sales reps) every week to review their pipeline and territory, assist with the navigation of the established sales cycle, discuss the health of their accounts, discuss the customer journey, and lay down some clear, concise wisdom to help them hit their goals
- Routinely shadow client meetings to provide feedback and coaching
- Participate in and lead team meetings in coordination with the sales leadership team
- Meet weekly with the VP of Sales to review monthly forecasting, team wins and losses, individual performance, and emerging industry trends you’ve identified from talking with your team and our customers
Who you are:
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience
- 2 years of sales management experience
- Demonstrated ability to coach and support other sales team members
- Passion for growing a team
- Displays high level of personal and professional integrity
- Growth mindset
- Strong project management skills, analytical skills, and knowledge of compensation and benefit programs
- Accountable self-starter with strong organization skills, detail orientation, and demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline
- Ability to build relationships
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- This position is required to work out of our downtown Chicago office at least 2 days a week
