Director, Strategic Alliances

The Director of Strategic Alliances will play a leading role in developing a highly effective go-to-market strategy and selling methodology for systems integrator (SI) and consulting firm partners across North and South America. You are sales oriented, a problem solver, a relationship builder and self-motivated, with superior communication and organization skills. Knowledge of supply chain and logistics, along with SaaS-based software experience, are strongly desired.
Responsibilities
- Lead partner enablement for SI & Consultant firms, including the Big 4 and MBB, to ensure that our partners have the necessary product knowledge to co-sell or re-sell the FourKites platform
- Generate partner initiatives to drive net-new revenue including referral programs
- Drive supply chain innovation by coordinating activities between Product Management and partner technology solutions
- Act as the liaison between partner and sales personnel, while being the main point of contact for partners
- Qualify new partnership opportunities by providing corporate and solution overviews and value assessments
- Communicate and educate partners as to new products and service offerings
- Define and execute partner engagement plans
- Qualify partner leads and secure follow-up meetings to assure a smooth transition of account information
- Create systems and procedures to streamline partner management
- Partner with management to execute contracts and legal documents
- Collaborate with marketing to create new content and collateral for partners
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software sales, business strategy, and/or partnerships
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain management and logistics
- Bachelor’s Degree or MBA
- Display high levels of energy and drive, thrive under pressure with strong business acumen, have strong process orientation and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven success working in cross-functional teams
- Strong project management, organization, and presentation skills
- Must be able to demonstrate and leverage deep supply chain industry knowledge
- Bilingual in speaking Spanish is a plus
- Willingness to travel 20-30% of the time
