Amount is seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships to join the Business Development team.

As the Director of Strategic Partnerships, you will focus on developing, identifying and executing on the indirect channel partnership strategy that will drive long term revenue growth for Amount. You will be the responsible executive from building the internal readiness framework, identifying partners, signing deals and managing on-going partner relationships. You will also interact closely with internal associates and c-suite members throughout the journey. As an early member of the business development team, you will have the opportunity to help define our sales process, marketing strategy and influence our future product roadmaps.

What you’ll work on:

  • Identify opportunities for strategic partners who can sell and implement our Amount product offering in the financial services industry
  • Partner closely with Sales Operations, Product, Engineering, Legal and other internal stakeholders to define the right product and go-to-market strategy for strategic partnerships
  • Identity the c-suite decision makers and cultivate strong relationships
  • Qualify leads to strike a balance between revenue potential and execution effort
  • Become an expert on the Amount product offering and more broadly digital transformation within financial services
  • Represent Amount at trade-shows and / or conferences 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of consulting or direct software sales experience
  • Track record of negotiating, structuring and executing highly complex enterprise-level agreements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to C-level executives
  • Strong ability to articulate contractual, technical, and financial value points to customers, including executive leaders
  • Prior experience working with internal cross functional teams to close deals (e.g. business development, marketing, product, technology, etc.)
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced start-up
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
