Packback’s new enterprise vertical partnering with Presidents and CAO’s is one of its highest growth-areas, focused on state systems, community colleges, and fully online institutions. Reporting to the cofounder of the company, you will lead a team of high performers to qualify and complete new partnership opportunities to meet annual targets.  This role will be 1/3rd individual contribution (joining key c-level calls) and 2/3rd team management (accountability, coaching, defining path to goal).
 

What you will be doing:

  • Lead an enterprise partnerships team of 4 in 2021 growing to 8 by 2022, partnering with institution leadership of Presidents, Chief Academic Officers, Provosts, and VP of Academic Affairs
  • Oversee the strategic and tactical plans required to identify, qualify, and complete new partnership opportunities
  • Assist your team in developing a robust pipeline necessary to deliver against budget and quota responsibilities
  • Develop measurable metrics for the partnerships team; partner with our Revenue Operations team to build dashboards and configure CRM to improve team performance
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets 
  • Day to day team management including recruitment, training, motivation, support, development and evaluation
  • Partner with VP of Customer Success to meet or exceed customer expectations and increase loyalty

 

Here is what you will need to know/have:

  • 3 plus years experience in management of team quotas for enterprise-level business development teams in education
  • Experience partnering with Chief Academic Officers or Chief Information Officers in education solutions/services
  • Knowledge of differences between community colleges, four-year institutions, and fully online colleges
  • Proven track record of defining a detailed new partnerships strategy while running a metrics-driven team
  • History of delivering revenue targets
  • Positive attitude, energetic, upbeat and professional
  • Comfortability and desire to operating in a startup environment
