An Insider's view of Hyatt

What are some social events your company does?

At Hyatt, we love to connect with our guests and customers — and with each other. We host various events throughout the year, from company-wide Diversity Business Resource Group (DBRG) activities like this year’s virtual Black History Month Celebration featuring Debbie Allen, to team-led events such as virtual breakfast clubs and happy hours.

Danielle

Associate Vice President, Loyalty Finance

How do you collaborate with other teams in the company?

Our cross-functional collaboration is built on trust and transparency, and we work together in many different ways, from video calls to brainstorming sessions, weekly “open office” hours, shared creative boards, and more. At Hyatt, collaboration is key and our teams are constantly evolving our ways of working to advance our purpose of care.

Hannah

Manager, eCommerce Product Development

How has your career grown since starting at the company?

My role has transformed and expanded since I began at Hyatt — in my case, as a bellhop in New Zealand at the age of 19. Since that time, my Hyatt roles have taken me to Germany and to the Hyatt Hub in Chicago, where I now manage an incredible team. Hyatt is a place that’s ripe with opportunity — where your drive and passion can take you far.

Daniel

Director, Digital Content & Asset Management

What is your vision for the company?

We are in a time of extraordinary transformation and one of the things that people are looking forward to most is traveling. Hyatt is at the epicenter of the return to travel and we are looking for passionate change-makers to be a part of our journey — with our digital and technology areas at the heart of where we are investing and growing.

Julia

Senior Vice President, Global Head of Digital & Technology

How do your team's ideas influence the company's direction?

Hyatt’s teams of designers, engineers, and product managers are organized around moments in the guest journey, and it’s their research and their ideas that go into nearly every decision we make about the digital products we bring to life. Our agile approach and guest-centricity enable ideas that shape the business.

Ben

Vice President, Digital Product
