Federal Sales Engineer
Keeper is hiring a driven Sales Engineer to join our world class team who will support our Public Sector division. This can be a 100% remote position!
This role currently requires that the candidate's home location be within the Eastern United States (EST) for time zone purposes. About the Job / About the Team
Join an elite team of highly skilled Sales Engineers and Sales Professionals to play a key role in working with customers to identify the technical requirements within an opportunity, match them to Keeper Security solutions, and support the sale by positioning and demonstrating differences. You will provide product trials and evaluations to Keeper Security partners, assist with implementation and integration, and provide level-2 technical assistance to existing customers. You're right for this job if you:
- Have strong problem solving skills with an ability to analyze complex multivariate problems and use a systematic approach to gain quick resolution, often under pressure.
- Bring hands on expertise or unique knowledge in the area of Cybersecurity, uses skills to contribute to execution of company objectives and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.
- Love acting as a highly experienced professional in the field, uses professional concepts in providing primarily pre-sales technical support for the technical sales process of Keeper Security Solutions.
- Are passionate about providing leadership within the sales teams in assessing potential application of Keeper Security products to meet customer’s business needs.
- Actively leads the consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation as it applies to the technical sales process.
- Are excited about working on issues that affect design/selling success or address future concepts, products or technologies.
- Can balance responsibilities for the majority of the aspects of the technical sales process.
- Love establishing relationships and engaging with the technical personnel to identify opportunities and sell Keeper Security products and services.
- Have a desire to conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations remotely or at customer locations/Keeper Security facilities on Keeper Security products value proposition.
- Can ensure accurate and timely activity and issue updates in Salesforce and reporting to management.
- Excel at creating and delivering technical product presentations and/or training sessions to channel partners and customers' focus.
- Can't wait to participate as part of a sales team to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
- Have the ability to travel to and from customer meetings (locally and nationally) and rent and/or operate a car on behalf of the company
- US Citizenship as part of FedRamp certification
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Technical Sales or Engineering
- Strong background in Scripting and DevOps
- 2+ years of experience navigating the sales cycle with large enterprise organizations
- Strong hands on experience with Windows/Active Directory administration as well as UNIX/Linux
- A technical background in networking and security applications as well as cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
- Outstanding presentation skills and the ability to build and demonstrate a high quality
- product overview to both technical and executive level audience
Preferred Experience:
- B.S. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Experience selling in Federal environments
- Industry recognized certifications
- Knowledge of Scripting and DevOps experience
- Prior experience with Keeper Security’s Enterprise Password Management cybersecurity solution or relevant experience with IAM or other security SAAS solutions
