About the Role
Beyond recently launched its Growth & Partnerships division and is looking for an ambitious, motivated individual with the desire and drive to be a high achiever as it’s second team member. This is an opportunity to join a young team, with considerable opportunities for advancement. This individual will work closely with the EVP of Growth & Partnerships through a combination of Business and Corporate Development projects focused on identifying partners for Beyond, understanding their needs as partners, and designing solutions for our partners, for Beyond, and most importantly, our collective customers.
The role will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product and engineering to deliver actionable insights that help drive the identification and development of new revenue growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven, strategic thinker able to thrive in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment. Exceptional candidates will have a well-rounded, yet advanced, skillset that includes sales management, financial analysis, data manipulation and visualization, and presentation.
What You’ll be Doing:
- Generating leads, by building relationships and nurturing warm prospects, whilst actively finding new potential revenue outlets and being confident in identifying prospects’ needs for suitable partnership designs.
- Performing market research and analysis of opportunities for partnership designs, including strategic fit, industry analysis, and preliminary P&L models.
- Interpreting financial statements, formulate reasonable assumptions for partnership designs and developing forecasts to drive P&L models & deal structures.
- Develop and evaluate partnership presentation / proposal content, work with the EVP of Growth & Partnerships to identify key areas of value with external partners and collaborate with internal tech / product teams to ensure that partnership designs meet business requirements.
- Build and cultivate relationships with internal cross-functional teams within the organization and external targets.
- Run ad hoc projects that are often data intensive and require comfort with numbers to make decisions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, or Finance. Our team comes from a variety of backgrounds but are successful because of their ability to problem solve and think analytically.
- 2-4 years of tangible work experience dealing with management consulting, process improvement or data analytics.
- Exceptional ability to research, write and edit effectively across a variety of formats: executive summaries, proposal Q&A, presentations. and talking points
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly, successfully with others and a desire to advance business development skillset including, negotiating, influencing others, analytical thinking, leading others, and executing and implementing projects.
- Ability to absorb and translate broad concepts and ideas into clear and concise communications
- Proactive, flexible, and resourceful individual able to produce detailed results with minimal guidance
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams under deadline pressure both independently, within a team and with diverse stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
