JOIN OUR TEAM

We're looking for an organized and highly motivated help desk engineer to join our team. Our computers team manages the internal network, applications, servers and workstations. You will be responsible for primary support of internal users, performing troubleshooting, offering solutions, and performing routine maintenance.

The ideal candidate must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Serve as the first point of contact for users requiring technical assistance
  • Perform troubleshooting, remotely or in person, in order to diagnose system errors and other issues
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by users
  • Follow up with users to ensure full resolution of issues
  • Learn the functions and back end of our environment so that you can walk users through the steps to achieve specific goals
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Provision systems and deploy software through our device management platform
  • Be responsible for asset management and coordinating user device and software purchasing
  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services
  • Record events and problems and their resolution in our issue tracking system
  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
  • Learn from a team of IT professionals with many years of IT experience

Requirements

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • You are an exceptionally resourceful individual with the ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly
  • You have strong knowledge and experience dealing with MacOS and Windows 10 operating systems
  • You are able to communicate effectively to help customers fix their issues and feel satisfied with the experience
  • You have excellent problem solving skills
  • You have experience with cloud application platforms such as Google Workspace, Jira and Confluence
  • You have experience with endpoint management suites (Ivanti and JAMF preferred) and mobile device management (MobileIron preferred)
  • You have experience with Active Directory, network and WiFi troubleshooting
  • You understand the basic concepts behind networking technologies, such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, switching and routing
  • Plus: You are a detail-oriented problem solver, a quick learner with interest and ability to learn new technologies and possess excellent communication skills
