Position Overview:

Paro is seeking a driven Inside Sales Manager who brings an extensive track record of building, scaling, and leading high-performing Sales Development Representative (‘SDR’) teams. Our sales team continues to grow aggressively, and we’re now looking for a rock star to shape our future success by leading our SDR team. Their scope of responsibilities will include hiring, coaching, and managing these individuals. The Inside Sales Manager will also have an impact on Paro’s holistic outbound targeting/prospecting and inbound qualification sales strategies.

The Inside Sales Manager will report directly to Paro’s VP, Sales and regularly collaborate with stakeholders across all departments including sales, product, marketing, and operations.

Who You Are:

  • 5-7 years of B2B sales experience, along with 3-5 years sales management/people leadership experience (Background in financial services, consulting, accounting, and/or bookkeeping is a plus!)
  • Authentic coach who can naturally inspire, motivate and respectfully challenge the team. Think fast, hustle, and celebrate successes.
  • Think highly quantitatively with a focus on KPIs and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior employees and accelerate their growth
  • Enjoy the recruiting and onboarding process, particularly as it relates to understanding candidates’ unique personalities, learning styles, goals and setting them up for success
  • Deep comfort with outbound selling & coaching reps on outbound selling best practices, including cold calling, email, social, and other inside sales channels
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial ambition to get the job done and comfortable with ambiguity and change
  • Maintain a professional demeanor complemented by excellent, clear & succinct verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing and able to roll up your sleeves and learn the ropes by prospecting and qualifying through Paro’s sales process (during ramp-up period only)

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve on Paro’s Sales Leadership Team
  • Focus on hiring, onboarding and retaining SDR sales talent
  • Coach and manage Paro’s Sales Development Representatives. Notes on our current SDR structure:
  1. Support a mix of both generalist Account Executive pods in a 1:many relationship, as well as Senior Account Executives in a 1:1 capacity
  2. Assigned either an inbound qualification or outbound prospecting role focus, based on team needs as well as individual rep skill sets
  • Remove roadblocks wherever possible for your team, including optimized sales processes and technical automation
  • Ensure SDRs understand their goals, where their performance stands, and how they can improve
  • Besides the new Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) you conceptualize and operationalize, you’ll also be responsible for:
  1. Outbound meetings set
  2. Inbound leads qualified
  3. Meeting attendance / qualification rates
  4. SDR ramp-up time
  5. New business revenue growth from SDR-impacted Accounts
  6. New clients added from SDR-impacted Accounts
  7. Comfort managing through all types of conversations including, celebrations of wins, holding team members accountable and giving difficult feedback to those who are not meeting expectations
