The Role

Matterport is seeking a talented Inside Sales Associate to support fast growing demand for our revolutionary products in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) market. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, high-energy representative to be on the front line with a high tech startup in a high growth vertical, connecting with prospective customers and sourcing new prospects. The candidate will work closely with a tight knit team to drive growth in AEC. The ideal candidate must possess self-discipline, excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly assess a prospect’s needs in a high throughput environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with inbound inquiries from prospective customers via email or phone
  • Maintain high outbound calling activity to qualify opportunities and follow up with leads
  • Research accounts to understand need and facilitate effective follow upIdentify problems/objections with leads/accounts and resolve or escalate appropriately
  • Proactively look for opportunities to improve the sales and lead management process
  • Effectively triage and prioritize opportunities
  • Understand Account Based Selling and have experience growing existing accounts

Requirements:

  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce.com preferred)
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • 2 to 3 years of Inside Sales experience with hardware or SaaS products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A self starter with excellent closing skills
  • Ability to understand customer's industry and core business challenges
  • Ability to tell a compelling story about how product features can address business issues and key workflows
  • Previous experience with Architecture, Engineering or Construction is a plus
