As a diehard sports fan there’s nothing more frustrating than missing a big play because you were stuck, waiting in a line, for a hot dog and beer.  Our purpose is to enhance the gameday experience through in-venue mobile ordering. The FanFood App allows fans to either order their concessions from the comfort of their seat and get notified when their order is ready for pick-up or to get concessions delivered directly to their seat.

We take pressure off long concession lines, help grow business in a profitable manner by optimizing in-venue online ordering performance and increase revenue for sports teams and concession operators.

FanFood is a nationwide app executing events on a daily basis through our partnerships in the following sports segments: Amphitheaters, Golf Courses, High Schools, International Raceways, Minor League Baseball Affiliates, MLS Soccer Clubs, NCAA Collegiate Properties, and Youth Sports Complexes. Position Overview:

FanFood is a venture-backed, rapidly growing, Chicago-based technology startup seeking a hungry and energetic Account Executive (Inside Sales) to join our sales team. FanFood’s Account Executive role is a great opportunity to leverage sales skills to make an immediate impact on a young organization’s growth.

You are the frontline of FanFood’s client ­facing teams and will be responsible for a book of business and the business targets that come with it. The majority of your time will be delivering FanFood's value proposition to potential clients and advising them on how to get the best return on their FanFood investment. You will use your problem solving, sales, and objection handling skills to get the job done in a fast paced, high performing environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Create leads, build potential client pipeline, and drive deal flow to close new business
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations that convey the value proposition of the FanFood Solution
  • Ensure disciplined management of key sales activities to surpass sales targets
  • Take ownership for lead generation and partner closely with marketing to ensure top of the funnel activity is developed to enable achievement of overall sales targets
  • Call on potential accounts generated through Marketing’s referral process
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing structures for different package offerings
  • Attend trade shows and conferences to represent the FanFood Brand

What We Are Looking For:

  • EXCELLENT initiative 
  • Bachelor degree in business, or related field
  • 2+ years of sales and/or account management experience with a proven track record of success
  • “Hunter” mentality - this is a fast growth environment with ample selling opportunity
  • An entrepreneurial spirit - the idea of being an active participant in a growing company must excite you
  • Proven track record of selling and surpassing sales targets with data and/or technology solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Strong sales process/organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Thrives in a competitive team environment
  • Attention to detail and advanced listening skills
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally and work well within a distributed, team-oriented environment
  • Must have a positive attitude with a drive to win
