What You Do:

Uptake’s Sales Operations team is looking for an entrepreneurial sales training and enablement lead to ensure all salespeople, at all levels, have the tools, training, and knowledge they need to grow our revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of training products and programs such as classes, workshops, and learning modules that build seller knowledge and skills to increase deal volume, velocity, and close rate
  • Manage planning and execution of two major cross-functional Sales Kickoffs per year, and curate trainings by external vendors
  • Ensure Sales team members have the enablement materials and collateral they need to accelerate deal velocity, reducing the burden on sellers and supporting them across the buying process (in collaboration with Marketing)
  • Curate our internal Sales portal to ensure sellers and other commercial team members have up-to-date information on operating rhythms, sales motion, and systems and tools to increase deal volume and velocity
  • Identify business needs, skills gaps, and behavior of our most effective Sales team members to develop targeted programming and increase impact of existing programs
  • Collect and synthesize guidance and feedback for marketing team on how enablement materials and positioning resonate with prospects and customers
  • Guide usage of sales assets and tools, and lead change management to ensure sellers are up-to-date as our tools and processes evolve
  • Curate up-to-date onboarding materials for new sales reps and managers, and create and facilitate regular Sales Boot Camp
  • Support sales managers in onboarding new reps to reduce time to productivity, and support enablement of commercial expansion in new geographic territories
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Ecosystem teams to enable sellers to participate successfully in events and channel sales activities
  • Define and implement KPIs to ensure consistent evaluation and improvement of sales training program

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be an independent thinker comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a rapidly scaling technology organization.

Required:

  • 5+ years of Enterprise Software sales operations, enablement, and/or account executive experience
  • Excellent project management and process development skills, and ability to work collaboratively across departments within a complex and changing organization
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and ancillary tools
  • Experience building and implementing scalable training programs that enhance sales performance, with a demonstrated track record of behavior change and improved results
  • Record of success driving adoption and measuring impact of sales training and enablement programs
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to describe complex concepts in a concise manner to people of different skill and experience levels
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, sense of humor, and passion for Industrial AI

Preferred:

  • Account development and/or account management experience
  • Strong understanding of concepts and technologies behind big data and predictive analytics, predictive maintenance, and Industrial AI

Location

We are located in River North just right off the Chicago Brown Line stop. We also provide you with a free shuttle service to/from Ogilvie and Union.
