How you’ll help
As Jellyvision grows, we need people to coach and manager our high-performing Business Development Representatives (BDRs). Our BDRs reach out to 60-100 potential customers every day, having conversations that are helpful, kind, and consultative. The Manager of Business Development will be responsible for improving our processes, prospecting, and pitch to help us land more meetings!
What you’ll do
- Recruit, hire, develop, motivate and promote a best-in-class sales team
- Provide 1 on 1 coaching, training, strategic prospecting and account strategy to ensure that outbound Business Development Representatives are meeting activity expectations and are achieving quarterly meeting conversion rate (SQM) of 80%
- Manage onboarding and continued training of BDRs to reduce ramp and improve their transition to the team
- Strategize with the Director, Business Development and VP, Sales to develop a pipeline of sales talent for the Account Executive and Account Management teams
- Collaborate with leadership and account executives to improve communication, and streamline the process of a meeting set, to an SQM, to dollars in the door.
- Cultivate and support an environment of success, stability, and accountability
- Apply metrics-based coaching using clear KPIs so every team member is clear on what is expected of them daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly.
- Help create and manage SPIF campaigns to increase BDR productivity and collaboration.
- Develop action plans and career plans with BDRs to grow within their competencies and begin exploring their next role.
- Complete monthly or quarterly performance reviews for each rep in Namely
Experience & skills you’ll need
- 2+ years of experience in business development in an Enterprise SaaS environment
- Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, and Linkedin Sales Navigator
- Desire to manage and coach sales reps early in their career
- Successful track record of hitting and achieving goals as an individual contributor or manager
