Role Description:

The Manager of Partnerships & Business Development will support problem-solving, own analytics, and assist in making recommendations to the C-suite on top organizational priorities. Potential projects may include M&A, joint ventures, and designing and helping to implement new lines of business, including care model innovations. This person will be a critical teammate who will work cross-functionally both internally and externally to help deliver innovative care delivery models that directly drive new growth and support Oak Street's mission.

A successful candidate will have a solution-oriented mindset and demonstrated experience working in a highly ambiguous environment, managing cross-functional activities and teammates, and conducting complex analysis. In this role, the Manager will also need to be external-facing at times, thus travel will be involved on an as-needed basis. They will report to the SVP, Partnerships & Business Development, and collaborate closely with the SVP, the COO, and many other Executive Committee leaders.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the COO and SVP Partnerships and Business Development to structure, analyze, and execute against high-priority strategic and operational projects across the organization
  • Drive strategic and analytical review of partnership opportunities
  • Manage cross-functional development and execution of select initiatives
  • Support preparation of executive-level presentations and financial models for our senior leadership team
  • Along with the team, represent Oak Street to external partners and potential partners in discussions and negotiations
  • Other duties, as assigned

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 3 of years experience, preferred industries: management consulting, banking, PE, VC, start-up, or healthcare delivery
  • Work experience in one or more of: strategic planning, data analytics, partnerships / business development, operations
  • Highly skilled in process / project management
  • Highly skilled in data analytics and financial modeling; must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint; experience with financial & analytical tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, R) is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to gain rapport quickly with senior-level stakeholders internally and externally
  • Several experiences of solving highly complex, multifaceted challenges
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous work environments
  • Undergraduate degree; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MD, JD, MPH, MHA, PhD etc.)
  • US work authorization
