MANAGER, SALES DEVELOPMENT MARKETING
ABOUT THE ROLE
Centro is seeking an experienced manager to qualify inbound leads, develop new leads via outbound prospecting, as well as build and lead a team of Sales Development Representatives who position Centro’s products and services to the various markets we serve and deliver qualified leads to our outside sales team (Account Leads, Managers, and Regional Directors). The candidate will need to be self-motivated with a great attitude, a fantastic work ethic, and the desire to build something new. They must display excellent communication and relationship-building skills, as well as the drive to turn every conversation into a sale.
The Manager, Sales Development Marketing will be responsible for onboarding, ongoing training and collaborating with team members to achieve goals. This role reports to the VP, Growth Marketing and works closely with both the sales and marketing organizations to maximize the creation of qualified sales opportunities. The candidate must be well organized and have a passion for coaching, walking the talk and continually improving team performance.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform SDR responsibilities as a key member of the team.
- Help to hire, onboard, train and manage SDRs.
- Write emails for the outside sales team to use during their prospecting and follow-up efforts.
- Write and test emails for the SDR team to use during the lead qualification process.
- Continually monitor lead quality by working with the sales team and receiving feedback.
- Manage and research tools to create process efficiencies and increase team results.
- Use Salesforce to analyze results for each SDR and the team as a whole.
- Provide recommendations to increase quality lead output.
- Motivate SDRs to meet and exceed goals through coaching and ongoing training.
- Identify methods to optimize Salesforce.com, Pardot and other tools to improve productivity.
- Provide ongoing feedback to individual SDRs.
- Manage third-party vendors, i.e., inbound/outbound lead gen firms.
- Maintain ongoing awareness of Centro’s products and services, competitor activities and other research. Coordinate product enhancements and new services training with Product Marketing, and other departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 - 3 years of SDR experience.
- 1 - 2 years of previous successful SDR team management experience.
- Proven ability to spot talent, hire and grow SDRs to be top achievers.
- Passion for prospecting and sales best practices.
- Experience with Salesforce.com, SDR tools, and marketing automation.
- Excellent project, time and self-management skills.
- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills and strong writing skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
