This role will work alongside both the Founder & CEO, and COO to determine expansion strategy, product offering, sales process, and to build an incredible sales team. Take our business to the next level! As a player-coach, you will lead our SMB (Small/Medium-sized Businesses) sales organization, which creates customized social media and web based ad campaigns, enabling businesses to reach their specific brand goals. You will undoubtedly get the opportunity to work with the most forward thinking businesses/brands as they chart their course for reaching our localized, highly engaged, and experience hungry demographic, across our extensive multi-channel portfolio. Some of our partners include; Facebook, Eataly, Chicago Helicopter Experience, FlyNyon, Urban Kayaks, Wendella Boats, Westfield, Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks, and many more.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow the SMB partnership efforts to additional markets 
  • Grow SMB partnership team with hungry, smart, diverse talent - be a true leader and mentor
  • Elevate the Bucket Listers brand by developing creative and high-impact partnerships
  • Raise marketplace awareness of Bucket Listers value proposition
  • Identify, pursue, structure, and negotiate partnerships with strategic brands and businesses
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Bucket Listers products, content, and strategy
  • Look to continually develop engaging and compelling company collateral
  • Be a well rounded player-coach
  • Conduct a high volume of weekly outreach, inbound and outbound
  • Carefully prospect both local and national leads
  • Exceed personal and team monthly/quarterly partnership quota
  • Effectively able to roll out new product offering externally and internally
  • Maintain oversight of CRM and pipeline management reporting
  • Collaborate with the extended Bucket Listers team members
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Passion for exploration and the Bucket Listers mission
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years proven experience generating partnerships in a B2B environment
  • Experience building, managing, and scaling a sales team
  • Experience working with or for top digital agencies
  • Passionate about the media industry landscape, trends and competitive offerings
  • History of building strong relationships through high levels of customer service, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Hyper-organized and strong multi-tasker who can easily manage numerous partnership pursuits while also engaged in projects based initiatives
  • Self-driven, motivated and results oriented
  • Keen ability to glean insight from CRM pipeline to strategically approach outreach
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Desire to build and grow a business
  • Experience with G-Suite, Keynote and Streak CRM preferred
  • Be happy, smile, and bring a positive attitude
