MID-MARKET SALES EXECUTIVE

The world of payments is changing and the only way to stay ahead of the game is to embrace the best in new payments technologies, opening new revenue streams and enabling new partnerships. In the past, payments were simply a way to move money from A to B. Today, merchants can take advantage of our payments technology to not just collect payments, but to also increase their sales, streamline operations and shed technical debt. The Mid-Market Sales Executive will leverage Braintree's class-leading technology to develop new gateway and merchant service relationships with enterprise and mid-market businesses.

Sales Executives join an elite team that develops an outbound and inbound pipeline for new revenue growth. This sales professional will also build off of Braintree’s reputation as a technology leader and it's existing customer list to develop and maintain relationships with key referral partners. Ultimately, this high-level performer is expected to create genuine connections with some of the most impressive technology and growth companies in the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Convey the value of processing with an industry-leading gateway and class-leading features to develop new gateway and merchant payment processing relationships with Enterprise and Middle Market eCommerce businesses.
  • Provide expert advice and consultation on Braintree’s technology capabilities, expressing the value of our platform to C-Level prospects.
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle in a high volume, fast-paced environment with an unwavering focus on delivering revenue.
  • Manage a pipeline of outbound and inbound opportunities.
  • Challenge assumptions and drive for improvements in all facets of the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with teammates to build product knowledge, share best practices, and solve problems for our new customers

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in selling B2B solutions in a technology or financial services industry with a track record of top performance.
  • Payments and processing industry experience a plus.
  • Strong network of partnerships for referrals via associations, industry groups, system integrators and previous contacts.
  • Extensive sales experience with enterprise and middle market businesses, selling into the C-Level.
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with experienced technical buyers.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to develop pricing models and proposals.
  • Ability and desire to operate in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
